Roster

One block. 23 fighters.

Every fighter is a character from Boyz n the Hood (1991) or from its 1984 opening, The Young Boyz, when the boys from the block were still kids. Some characters appear in both eras, and each version has its own moves. Every fighter has a Special, a signature move of their own (toward + heavy kick), two Supers, a cinematic Ultra and a throwable item with four uses per round. Before each fight you also choose a sidekick, a neighbor, friend or family member who runs in to help when you call. Each fighter also has a rival from the film.
